Ensuring the Product Fits in Your Space

Before placing an order for large furniture pieces, please ensure there is adequate space to accommodate the product. All dimensions are clearly mentioned on the product page.
We recommend marking the width and depth on the floor using masking tape or newspaper to visualize the floor area. Similarly, check the height against the wall to ensure tall units do not interfere with wall lights, curtain rods, or windows. Once marked, confirm that there is enough walking space around the product and that no doors, windows, or pathways are obstructed.
For pieces with doors, drawers, or extendable fittings, please ensure there is sufficient clearance to open them fully.

Ensuring Access into Your Home

Most of our furniture is carefully crated and dispatched. While checking access points, please add 8 inches to the product’s width, depth, and height to account for crating.
Measure the inside dimensions of all access areas including doorways, staircases, hallways, and lifts to ensure the crate can pass through. Also, check if there is sufficient turning space in tight passages. Please keep in mind possible obstructions such as doorknobs, wall lights, or low ceiling beams.

We recommend retaining the crating until the furniture is safely placed in its final position, as moving it without protective packaging may cause damage.

Ensuring Smooth Delivery

Our delivery partners typically attempt to call before delivery. However, as deliveries are carried out by third-party logistics providers, we cannot guarantee their actions. We request you to track your shipment for accurate delivery updates.

If you are unavailable on the scheduled delivery date, please inform us in advance by writing to hello@treeboat.in so we can coordinate accordingly. Kindly ensure that your delivery address, pin code, and contact number are correct for a smooth experience.

Please note:

  • Standard delivery is up to the ground floor of your building.

  • If the item fits in the lift, delivery personnel may bring it to your doorstep.

  • Delivery staff are not responsible for carrying items up staircases or higher floors. Please arrange additional manpower if required.

  • Delivery staff are not authorized to open the packaging or wait while it is being opened.

We kindly request you not to insist on services beyond their scope.

In Case of Damaged Packaging

If you notice visible damage to the packaging, please:

  1. Point it out to the delivery personnel.

  2. Take photographs of the damage.

  3. Note the damage on the Delivery Slip with your signature.

  4. Share the details with us at hello@treeboat.in along with the images.

After delivery, we recommend opening the packaging yourself or with the help of a local carpenter. If you find any damage to the product, please document it with photographs and inform us immediately.

Opening the Packaging & Assembly

Our furniture is packed with multiple layers of protection such as bubble wrap, foam, corners, cardboard, and wooden crates to ensure safe transit.

Since delivery personnel are not authorized to open the packaging, you may either open it yourself or hire a local carpenter.

Some items, such as dining tables or coffee tables, may require minimal assembly (e.g., attaching legs using screws or Allen keys, which are included in the packaging). These can be assembled easily at home or with basic assistance from a carpenter.
